T&C is a volunteer based organization that receives no funding from any of the surrounding Counties or from any other governmental agency. From the Sport Board members, to Commissioners, to Coaches, to game day volunteers, parent involvement and assistance is needed and always welcomed. All T&C Sports offered are coached by VOLUNTEER coaches. Some sports and teams have returning or assigned coaches. Town and Country also provides trained referees, and requires background checks and coaches training for volunteer coaches. The certification programs provide training, support, and continuing education to adults who volunteer to coach out-of-school youth sports teams in addition to each T&C Sport’s additional development, skills and code.
Account Setup/Email - When setting up your account, please choose an email you can access and receive messages. If you choose a work email you may experience trouble receiving emails from the system (i.e., coaches, commissioners, T&C) which could include team information, practices, schedules, and updates. Company/Employer monitors the communication and emails sent or received and could be designated as junk and rejected for policy reasons. A personal/private email is the best practice when setting up your account.
Please remember to print your registration/post purchase receipt for the current season for your records.
Decals - You can order decals per sport in the registration portal. If you want to order decals enter the quantity desired, they are $10.00 each and optionally enter the players name if you want the name to appear with the decal, Click here to view decals for each sport.
Partner Decals - Be a Town & Country Partner! Please help us give more kids a chance to play recreational sports. Your tax deductible donation of $50 or more identifies you as a T&C Sports Partner when you make a donation in the registration portal. As our small way of saying thanks, you'll receive a special TC Sports Partner decal, plus recognition (if you wish) on our Town & Country website as a Partner. Thank you for helping Town & Country in whatever ways you can. Click here to view Partner decal.
Registration Changes - Please note, changes to any registrations will not be permitted once the sport session is in late registration.
Buddy Request - Please note, buddy requests are considered but are NOT GUARANTEED. Due to various criteria, the "Buddy System" does not guarantee your request will be granted. When teams are formed, we try to create teams by neighborhoods as best as possible. We CANNOT guarantee every child will be placed on their neighborhood team. Submission of a buddy request does not guarantee placement of players together as balanced team formation takes precedence.
Some of our sports form teams by the draft process not the buddy request system. Part of the draft process is the evaluation of player’s skills. The evaluations enable us to place players at a level where they will have the most chance of success, have fun, and also help us to form more evenly balanced teams. All registered players will be drafted to a team; there are no cuts.
Wait Lists - Certain programs are offered to a limited number of participants. Once we have reached capacity with our registrations, we will allow participants to be added to a waiting list (maintained in a “first come, first serve” manner). The waitlist is used for fill in spots only. A person accepted from the waitlist will fill a spot on an already formed team. No requests will be honored. Players placed on a waitlist are not guaranteed a placement on a team. Participants on the waiting lists will then be contacted if spaces become available in which you will be required to pay for your registration.
Competitive Wait Lists - Note some of our sports offer more competitive divisions and those registrants are placed automatically to wait list until coach approval before assignment to a team. YOU WILL NOT BE CHARGED UNTIL APPROVAL IS GRANTED.
Playing Up - playing up is subject to prior-season coach approval. We strongly prefer players start in their natural age group unless the player is experienced or particularly talented and demonstrates they are capable of playing a year higher without putting themselves and others at risk. Play ups are not permitted for Soccer Age 4 division.
Time Commitment - If you are going to sign up, can we count on you to show up on time to games and practices? During a season, players will be expected to attend 1-2 practices a week and 1-2 games per week, depending upon the sport. Primary instruction in any sport skills, strategy and teamwork will take place and your child will miss much of the value of our programs if they do not attend practices and games on a regular basis. All practice times and days are scheduled by the coach and are coordinated for field availability.
Non-Registered Players - Any child not registered for the current season sport program will not be permitted to participate in practices or games. Please contact the office, 512-331-0438 to process and complete registration. Unregistered players puts T&C, coaches and other players at risk and parents must agree to the required consents in the registration, provide physical and medical documentation (per sport).
Following team assignment, coaches will be contacting players and parents for first practices and schedules. The office will not have any information regarding practices/schedules as this is decided closer to the start of the season. Please refer to the sport FAQ or schedules tabs for general information.
For specific league/program information, please click on the Programs or FAQs tabs for each sport site for information which may provide you with the answer you seek. For league/program questions, contact the sport board members and/or sport division commissioners for the age group. Always check the sport website for future information and updates.
